Brazil legend Cafu says he sees similarities between Neymar and Lamine Yamal and has hailed the Barcelona star as a “phenomenal” player already.
Yamal has long made it clear that Neymar was his idol growing up and that he’s been inspired by the Brazilian superstar.
Cafu has now explained how he believes Yamal shares some of Neymar’s best attributes.
Cafu was also asked to give Yamal some advice and simply told the teenager to keep on enjoying himself on the football pitch.
Yamal has been enjoying himself again this season, scoring 23 times and grabbing 17 assists. He’s also on course to win his third La Liga title before heading to the World Cup with Spain.
