Remember when you knew when the Buffalo Bills were selecting in the 2026 NFL Draft? Forget all of that.
Buffalo did not make a first-round pick in the draft on Thursday. Instead, general manager Brandon Beane traded down three times, moving out of Round 1 and completely transforming the Bills' draft setup.
The Bills entered the draft with two selections in the top 125. Now they have five in the top 126.
Here’s an updated look at Buffalo’s picks after those moves.

Here is the Bills’ updated list of picks after the first round:
• Round 2: No. 35 overall (from Tennessee Titans)
• Round 3: No. 66 overall (from Tennessee Titans)
• Round 4: No. 101 overall (from Tennessee Titans)

How the Bills got here
Buffalo entered the draft with the No. 26 overall pick but traded down three times - with the Texans, Patriots and Titans - to move to No. 35 overall while adding multiple mid-round selections.
The moves reflect Beane’s strategy of prioritizing depth in a draft class he said featured more value beyond the first round.
Back-to-back picks could be key
If no further trades are made, Buffalo is positioned for multiple quick selections:
• Round 4: No. 125 and No. 126
• Round 5: No. 167 and No. 168
When do the Bills pick next?
Buffalo’s next selection is No. 35 overall, the third pick of the second round on Friday night.
