Bayern won’t pursue Simons this time around (Inside Futbol)

Despite rumors to the contrary, Bayern Munich might really not being pursuing Tottenham Hotspur attacker Xavi Simons.

Of course, Bayern Munich was closely linked to Simons last summer when he was leaving RB Leipzig, but Uli Hoeneß vetoed the deal. Recently, there were rumors that the Bavarians might take another run at Simons, but that does not appear to be the case:

Kompany did not exactly agree with Hoeneß’s assessment of how things played out, but it appears the coach still will not get the player he seems to want.
