Japan Airlines has selected the RECARO R2 Economy Class seat for its new B737 MAX 8 fleet. Each seat features well-positioned USB Type A and C ports, enabling every passenger to stay connected and conveniently charge their personal devices throughout the flight. The thoughtfully designed ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) holder ensures optimal placement for passengers to utilise their own devices, enhancing their onboard experience.
The R2 also features ergonomically designed cushions and cutomised dress covers tailored specifically in the Japan Airlines design, elevating comfort and aesthetics. The integrated headrest offers ergonomic support while the seat’s robust and lightweight design maximises passenger comfort.
Each seat is equipped with a generously sized table, offering ample space for dining, work, or entertainment. For storage, the R2 is equipped with two literature pockets, including a lower pocket with expanded netting and an upper literature pocket, both designed to provide sufficient storage while preserving generous living space.
