Although this appears like a matchup that only Sir Mix-A-Lot would request, the outcome of Dumont vs. Edwards will likely help determine the next title challenger at women's bantamweight.

Edwards is on a somewhat surprising four-fight winning streak that I would love to see continue, but I have a hard time being optimistic about her chances opposite a neutralizing fighter who can outsize her like Dumont.

Add in the fact that Dumont is undefeated in the smaller octagon of the Apex at 7-0, and I suspect that the Brazilian extends her winning streak in this spot.

It feels like a dog or pass from a betting perspective, but the official pick is Dumont by unanimous decision.
