Turkish Airlines has decided to extend membership tiers of select Miles&Smiles members due to the situation around the Gulf.

A LoyaltyLobby reader from Kuwait forwarded us an email that they had received from Turkish Airlines today announcing this extension, which is marked as “ELITE PLUS STATUS PROTECTION ENABLED”.

Conclusion

It is great that Turkish Airlines decided to extend the reader’s tier already, even when it was due for renewal in August.

I would assume that Turkish Airlines has extended this to all members in the Gulf, where air traffic has been significantly disrupted due to the war.
