Sometimes, a technical malfunction can turn into a wonderful moment. Such was the case on Tuesday night in Buffalo as the Sabres hosted the Boston Bruins for Game 5 of the first round of the NHL playoffs. Even though the Sabres suffered a heartbreaking loss in overtime -- and missed a chance at clinching the series at home -- things got off to a heartwarming start.

Singer Cami Clune was tasked with taking on the Canadian national anthem, but as she got going, the microphone started cutting out. Without missing a beat, the crowd of over 19,000 stepped up and began belting "O Canada" in unison.

The audio went in-and-out throughout the performance, but the crowd support never wavered. What could have been a little bit of a disaster instead turned into a goosebumps-inducing moment, which we've seen a lot when it comes to fans singing the Canadian national anthem.

The Sabres lead the series 3-2, with the next game coming up on Friday, May 1 in Boston.
