Turkish Cargo has launched scheduled cargo flights between Chengdu and Istanbul in partnership with Air China Cargo, further strengthening its presence in the Chinese market.
“We have started scheduled cargo flights between Chengdu and Istanbul, operated by Air China Cargo. With three weekly frequencies, this new route supports efficient connections from Chengdu to a wide geography through our global network, while reinforcing İstanbul’s role as a key transfer hub,” in a LinkedIn post, Turkish Cargo said.
The service, operated by Air China Cargo, will run three times per week and is designed to enhance connectivity between western China and Turkish Cargo’s global network.
The new route supports the movement of cargo from Chengdu to a broad international destination base via Istanbul, reinforcing the airport’s role as a key transfer hub linking Asia with Europe, the Middle East and beyond.
