As the only returning member from the Nittany Lions QB room of last year, Jack Lambert could still be an important depth piece. Having witnessed some of the offenses in the Big Ten, he can play a role on the scout team perhaps, as he can prepare the first team offense for tough conference games. He also holds his standing as one of the best academic performers on the team, maintaining a high GPA. While Lambert is not an elite player, his elite character leads by example.
