Denver Broncos fans might not have to wait until rookie minicamp to learn new running back Jonah Coleman's jersey number.
Coleman wore No. 1 with the Washington Huskies from 2024-2025, but that number is currently worn by tight end Evan Engram in Denver. Coleman previously wore No. 3 (2023) and No. 24 (2022) at Arizona. No. 3 is currently owned by Broncos kicker Wil Lutz, and the team holds back No. 24 in honor of Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Champ Bailey.
So, Coleman will need to pick a new number in the NFL. The available options include Nos. 5, 6, 20 and 30. The running back took to Instagram on Wednesday with a jersey-swapped image that may have teased his number choice:
This would be an interesting development because RJ Harvey hinted at wearing No. 5 as a rookie last spring, but it wasn't available at the time. Harvey ended up wearing No. 12 in 2025. We should have an official confirmation of Coleman's number choice when the Broncos hold a rookie minicamp from May 8-10.
