Kendall Wells and the top-ranked OU softball team are set to face 12th-ranked Texas A&M in Game 2 of a three-game series Friday in College Station, Texas.
The Sooners (46-6, 18-3 SEC) have a two-game lead in the loss column on Alabama and Florida entering the final weekend of the regular season.
Friday night's game was suspended due to weather with the Sooners leading 5-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning. With inclement weather in the forecast Friday, game times could be up in the air.
Wells is one home run away from tying the NCAA record for a single season (37, set by Arizona's Laura Espinoza in 1995).
