Alabama transfer guard Davion Hannah has reportedly committed to South Carolina, per Rivals’ Joe Tipton.
Hannah is a talented guard that was plagued by injuries during his freshman campaign at Alabama. At 6-foot-6, 190 pounds, Hannah will look to shine at South Carolina next season. The former Alabama playmaker averaged 3.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists last season despite appearing in just 10 games, as Hannah has officially seen his time in Tuscaloosa come to an end following his announcement.
Hannah was ranked as the No. 10 shooting guard and the No. 46 overall player from the class of 2025, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was listed as the No. 3 overall player out of Missouri as well, as Hannah will now look for a fresh start with the Gamecocks following his freshman campaign at Alabama.
The Tide will have a multitude of new faces up and down the roster in 2026-27, as Alabama has lost a plethora of talent to both the NBA draft and transfer portal this offseason.
