Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Children’s Health broke ground in mid-April on a multispecialty care facility in Melbourne, Fla.

Nemours Children’s Health, Viera, will offer approximately two dozen pediatric services. Construction will begin this summer, with the facility expected to open in the summer of 2027, according to an April 16 news release.

The 34,000-square-foot facility will comprise specialties and services like allergy, audiology, cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, orthopedics, imaging, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, specialty clinic and urology.

“Breaking ground on this new location is an exciting milestone in our quest to elevate care for children and families in Melbourne and the surrounding community,” Martha McGill, Central Florida Region president of Nemours Children’s Health, said in the release.

Becker’s has reached out to Nemours Children’s Health for comment regarding the project cost and will update this story should more information become available.
