Former Duke Blue Devil Jalen Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks suffered one of the worst blowouts in NBA Playoff history Thursday night, falling to the New York Knicks by 51 points.

New York dominated from start to finish, holding a 61-point lead at one point.

Following the game, Johnson spoke to the media, vowing to improve despite the disappointing finish.

"Obviously we're all just looking forward to being better," he said. "This was a learning experience for us. We're growing; we're going to grow from this. We're going to definitely be better from it. I'm proud of this group, I'm proud of everything we were able to do."

Although Johnson and the Hawks fell flat in Game 6, an impressive 11-game win streak in the second half of the season saw the Hawks jump from Play-In Tournament territory to the No. 6 seed in the East.

Averaging career highs in points (22.5), rebounds (10.3) and assists (7.9), Duke fans should be excited to see how much further Johnson can improve next season.
