IHG 12% Points & Cash Sale For Stays Through June 1, 2026 (Book By May 18)

IHG has a new targeted (or open to anyone) Points & Cash sale that they have just now emailed to members about (I got the notice today)

Select IHG One Rewards members can save 12% (usually 15% during these sales) on the cash portion of the Points & Cash for stays through June 1, 2026. You must make the bookings by May 18.

Note that IHG doesn’t have “true” Points & Cash awards. They merely sell you the points, which you then redeem for a full points award.

If you cancel this award, all points will be returned to your account, and you will not receive a refund for the points you purchased earlier.

Conclusion

IHG offers Points & Cash sales a few times a year, which is a good way to purchase more IHG One Rewards points if you have already reached your yearly purchase limit.

The price under this 12% Cash & Points sale is higher than buying them outright at a 100% bonus (0.5 US cents versus 0.55 US cents each).

Remember that IHG here sells you points, which you then redeem for a full award. If you later cancel the award, the points will be returned to your account; however, the purchase transaction for the points is not reversed.
