“Bam Bam” is hurting.
Fan-favorite Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight veteran Tai Tuivasa suffered another setback at UFC Perth yesterday (Sat., May 2, 2026), dropping a unanimous decision to short-notice opponent Louie Sutherland inside RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia.
The defeat marked Tuivasa’s seventh straight loss — extending the longest losing streak in UFC Heavyweight history — and pushing his winless stretch to nearly four years.
After the fight, Tuivasa took to Instagram with a raw, emotional message.
Tuivasa (14-10) has now lost twice in the span of three months after returning from an 18-month layoff, and the seven-fight skid has only intensified the pressure surrounding his future.
Heading into the bout, Tuivasa admitted his “ass was on the line,” making the aftermath even more uncertain. With fans already calling for a move to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) — or outright release — the promotion now faces a tough decision regarding one of its most popular brawlers.
For Tuivasa, though, the message is clear: he’s not done yet.
