Thousands of people have run through Southampton as part of the city's annual Marathon Festival.
A total of about 8,000 people signed up to run the 26.2-mile (42.2km) marathon, or half marathon, or either the 10k or 5km races.
The marathon route took in city landmarks including the Bargate, Southampton Common and Itchen Bridge.
Southampton runner Mahamed Mahamed, the first British finisher at last week's London Marathon, cheered on runners from the start line, along with Southampton FC legend Francis Benali.
