Congratulations to Hudson Stewart of Center Grove on being voted Player of the Week for Week 4. Stewart, a Dayton commit batted .600 (6-for-10) with two home runs, three runs scored, six RBIs and one stolen base.
Here were the top performers from last week.
Kameron Blair, Hauser
Blair threw a complete-game shutout against Jac-Cen-Del, striking out 11 and allowing just three hits over six innings. For the season, Blair has a 0.00 ERA and 33 strikeouts over 18 innings.
Dane Burton, Roncalli
The sophomore pitched seven shutout innings, striking out 12 and allowing just three hits against Perry Meridian.
Drew Dalton, Decatur Central
The sophomore batted .571 (4-for-7) with four RBIs and one double. Three RBIs came on Dalton's walk-off double against Plainfield.
Benjamin Eve, Park Tudor
The senior batted .500 with eight RBIs, one double, one triple, four runs scored and one stolen base. On the mound, Eve struck out four in three innings against Wapahani, allowing one run on two hits.
Jackson McDaniel, Perry Meridian
McDaniel put in overtime on the mound the Falcons, pitching 8⅓ innings, striking out eight and allowing just one unearned run on one walk and five hits.
Carter Nahre, Lawrence North
Nahre threw a complete game in a win against Carmel, allowing just four hits, striking out six and walking zero.
Quinn Westerfeld, Western Boone
Westerfeld struck out 12 in a complete game shutout against Greencastle. The junior left hander allowed just five hits and walked one. At the plate, Westerfeld batted .400 (2-for-5) with a home run, one RBI and one run scored.
