As the offseason rolls along, USC men’s basketball’s 2026-2027 roster is starting to look more and more clear. On Saturday, the Trojans picked up another addition, landing Hawaii transfer Aaron Hunkin-Claytor.

As a sophomore with the Rainbow Warriors in 2025-2026, Hunkin-Claytor averaged 6.0 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game. He missed the final two months of the season, including Hawaii’s Big West Tournament title and trip to the NCAA Tournament, with an injury.

Hunkin-Claytor is the second portal addition in less than a week for the Trojans. USC also added Evansville transfer Joshua Hughes earlier last week.

Hunkin-Clayton is the fifth transfer portal addition of the offseason for head coach Eric Musselman and the Trojans. In addition, USC signed three high school players and has confirmed that 2025-2026 standouts Rodney Rice, Jacob Cofie, and Alijah Arenas will all be returning. With a lot of talent and depth on the roster, expectations will be high for the Trojans as Musselman enters his third season in Los Angeles.
