SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – The Hawkeyes wrapped up their weekend series with Illinois on Sunday, losing 6-2.

The Hawkeyes didn’t get on the board until the third inning after Jaylen Ziegler sacrificed for an RBI to bring Jaixen Frost. Iowa didn’t score again until the 8th.

Regardless of the loss, the Hawkeyes still take the series 2-1.
