IHG has launched a new IHG Business Rewards offer for members and stays in Greater China (Mainland, Hong Kong & Macau) between May 1 and December 31, 2026.
IHG Business Rewards members can earn triple points for stays/meetings/events + 5,000 bonus points for every 5 nights booked using IHG’s Corporate Travel Portal.

Note that there are two separate offers:
3X points for stays, meetings & events
You normally earn 3 points per USD (elite qualifying) when booking stays for others and arranging meetings and events.
This has been bumped to 9 points per USD. The bonus points are not elite qualifying, and there is a max spend of $20K per event to which these points apply (base + bonus).
5,000 Bonus Points for Every 5 Nights
IHG Business Rewards members can also earn 5,000 bonus points for every 5 nights booked using the Corporate Travel Portal.
The bonus points are capped at 20K per month from this offer (20 nights).
Conclusion
There is likely a separate Business Rewards offer for members outside the GC, and we will cover it once we find the landing page.
The triple points is the usual bonus offer, but these extra points for booking nights using their business booking tool is something new.
