The Hartford Wolf Pack will have a new coaching staff when the team takes the ice next season.

The New York Rangers announced the dismissal of head coach Grant Potulny and assistants Jamie Tardif, and Paul Mara on Sunday. The move comes after a disappointing season in which Hartford finished 26-38-5-3, dead last in the AHL’s Atlantic Division.

Potulny spent two seasons as Hartford head coach, going 56-71-12-5 overall. He had joined the Wolf Pack after spending seven years as head coach at Northern Michigan University.

The Rangers had a disappointing season themselves, finishing 34-39-9 and in last place in the NHL’s Metropolitan Division.
