The Oklahoma Sooners went 2-2 last week against a pair of top 25 teams in Oklahoma State and Arkansas. The Sooners closed the week with an impressive 11-1 run-rule victory over the Razorbacks. Despite the level of competition, the Sooners dropped out of the top spot in Softball America's latest rankings.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers jumped both Oklahoma and Alabama from the No. 3 spot to take the top spot in Softball America's top 25 after a three-game sweep of Minnesota. Alabama suffered an upset loss to Samford but responded by going 3-0 against the Kentucky Wildcats in SEC play, moving into a tie for first in the conference standings with the Sooners.

Texas Tech remained No. 4, and UCLA took Arkansas' spot to round out the top five. Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Texas A&M, and Duke make up the rest of the top 10.

Oklahoma State, after beating the Sooners at Devon Park, moved up four spots to No. 18 in the nation.

10 SEC teams make up this week's top 25, including Oklahoma's next opponent, the Georgia Bulldogs, who come in at No. 13. The Bulldogs have split the first two games of their series with the Longhorns heading into the Monday night finale.

Here's a look at Softball America's latest top 25.
