Sharon Almeida, MSN, RN, has been appointed COO of AdventHealth Celebration (Fla.).
Ms. Almeida brings a commitment to operational excellence and people-centered leadership, CEO Michael Mewhirter wrote in an April 20 LinkedIn post.
She has served as COO of AdventHealth Lake Nona (Fla.) since March 2025, where she strengthened system alignment, supported market launch strategy and led operational readiness and activation efforts, Mr. Mewhirter wrote.
Before joining Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth in 2025, Ms. Almeida spent five years as CEO of Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West in Peoria, Ariz., according to her LinkedIn profile.
