Qatar Airways significantly increased its flight operations last week (read more here) and also launched an offer to encourage Privilege Club members to book their flights, but initially with incorrect T&Cs that I noted at the time.

Privilege Club (Silver, Gold & Platinum) elites and select Burgundy members can earn double Qpoints in business and first class between April 16 and June 16 if they book April 16 – 22, 2026.

You can access this offer on the Qatar Airways website here.

Note that this double Qpoints offer is open to Silver, Gold, and Platinum Privilege Club members, as of April 14, as well as select Burgundy (no status) members.

Silver (Oneworld Ruby)

• To upgrade to Silver – Earn 150 Qpoints within any 12-month period.

• To retain Silver – Earn 135 Qpoints within last 12 months or 270 Qpoints within last 24 months prior to renewal date.

Gold (Oneworld Sapphire)

• To upgrade to Gold – Earn 300 Qpoints within any 12- month period

• To retain Gold – Earn 270 Qpoints within last 12 months or 540 Qpoints within last 24 months prior to renewal date.

Platinum (Oneworld Emerald)

• To upgrade to Platinum – Earn 600 Qpoints within any 12-month period.

• To retain Platinum – Earn 540 Qpoints within last 12 months or 1,080 Qpoints within last 24 months prior to renewal date.

Conclusion

This is a pretty nice offer from Qatar Airways that still hasn’t provided adequate status support to Privilege Club members, but at least they have made qualifying easier with this promotion.

There is the elite status fast track offer from Etihad, and I am sure that there will be one from Emirates as well.
