USC wide receiver Makai Lemon is one of the top-connected players to the Los Angeles Rams' No. 13 pick in the 2026 NFL draft. And while the Rams do need another receiver, the braintrust of general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay haven't tipped their hands for the direction they plan to go in with the team's first-round pick.

But when asked about Lemon's game, Snead didn't lie about how he felt watching the USC star.

“He’s a fun player to watch being right here," Snead said. "I have a daughter at USC. ... I've lived and died some Trojan football. I can say this: As a fan and as a father with two kids there, it was fun when you saw the ball go up and it was heading toward Lemon's hands, you always felt like he'd bring it down.”

That's pretty high praise for Lemon, even if it's not a clear sign of the Rams' interest in him. Lemon finished the 2025 season with 79 receptions for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns. He could be the first receiver taken in the draft, too, depending on how the rest of the board falls.

The Rams very well could take Lemon at No. 13, but Snead and McVay have noted that they're open to anything in the first round. At the very least, Snead is aware of how good Lemon is and how he could impact any NFL offense.
