Marriott launched its second points sale for 2026. The offer includes a 40% or higher bonus (check your offer here) and an increased limit, both valid through June 23, 2026.
You can usually purchase up to 100,000 points per calendar year (twice if you also use the award booking process). The limit, however, has been increased to 150,000 for all members.
You can access this offer on Marriott’s website here.

Please note that the account receiving the points must have been open for at least 90 days, or 30 days if you have engaged in another activity.
Price with a 40% Bonus:
Points are available at 0.89 cents each under this offer.
This is the lowest price Marriott has recently sold points for. Although they have occasionally offered global bonuses of 50% or 60%, these promotions were not available in 2023 and 2024. There have, however, been up to 60% targeted bonuses during these sales.
Does Buying Points Make Sense?
Purchasing points can be advantageous, especially when redeeming them for free-night awards and using the fifth-night-free benefit, which can lead to significant savings.
While Marriott has transitioned mainly to dynamic award pricing, there are occasional redemption opportunities—especially at higher-end properties—that make purchasing points more economical than paying cash rates.
Marriott partners with numerous airlines, some of which do not sell miles directly but allow conversions from Bonvoy at a 3:1 ratio. Plus, you receive a bonus of 5,000 miles when converting 60,000 points to 20,000 miles.
Points can also be purchased (up to an additional 100,000) through the award booking process:

Conclusion:
There were targeted bonuses during the previous sales, up to 60%, and this is likely the case again.
I guess that Marriott offers the highest bonus for non-lifetime and lower-tier members, which likely makes sense from their perspective.
Marriott award pricing is all over the map, and you can sometimes save by using points and taking advantage of the fifth night free awards.
