The NFL Draft is now done and dusted, with the Baltimore Ravens feeling good about how they've constructed their roster.
With offensive line a key need, the Ravens selected Olaivavega Ioane in the first-round, a move most saw coming.
But as the draft continued and the Ravens were on the clock in the fifth-round, something rather interesting happened...Baltimore owner Steve Bisciotti made the selection of Clemson running back Adam Randall.
And general manager Eric DeCosta revealed how it all went down.
"Adam Randall's an interesting pick," DeCosta said. "You'll probably see the video at some point -- it's the first draft pick that Steve Bisciotti has ever made. So, when we were down in Florida, Steve was begging for a draft pick and he owns the team. I said, 'Yes, Steve. Of course you can have a draft pick.' And so we decided on our last fifth-round pick. He did his research. He studied the tape and talked to people. He has a really good relationship with the Clemson head coach (Dabo Swinney)."

Ravens ready to rock under Minter?
Well, it is a little too early to suggest the Ravens are in great shape; they certainly did some good things in the draft.
Taking Ioane to solidify the offensive line, and getting edge Zion Young in the second round gives Minter some much-needed pass rush juice. Plus, receivers Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt come into a Lamar Jackson-led offense to bring something different to the room.
The Ravens know they are under pressure to deliver straight away under Minter, given the franchise's poor 2025 season, and the draft has gone some way toward giving confidence that, under Minter, something positive could be forthcoming.
And as for Bisciotti making his first-ever draft pick, well, that's just good for the soul.
