New Denver Broncos tight end Justin Joly is one tough football player. An old clip of Joly resurfaced of him gutting out a touchdown while injured during his time at NC State last fall.

Joly made an acrobatic over-the-shoulder catch on a double pass against the Pittsburgh Panthers, before running down the sideline towards the end zone.

Around Pitt's 25-yard line, Joly started to come up lame, limping on one leg with the ball in tow. Joly continued towards the end zone, before finally crossing the goal line with a Panther hot on his heels. Joly scored, despite the apparent injury.

Joly's effort play was reminiscent of a famous Madden clip of then-Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings scoring a similar touchdown, but on a "broken leg." Check out the 16-year-old clip from YouTuber Demetry James below.

Joly, a fifth-round pick from the 2026 NFL draft, looks to bring that kind of toughness to the NFL. Joly will join other Broncos rookies at minicamp next month, looking to make a memorable impression on the Denver coaching staff.
