Charleston, W.Va.-based Vandalia Health has appointed Pat Keel as executive vice president and CFO.
Ms. Keel most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Memphis, Tenn.-based St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she held the role since 2016 and also served as chief administrative officer from 2020 to 2025, according to an April 28 health system news release shared with Becker’s.
Before joining St. Jude, she was CFO and COO of Shreveport, La.-based University Health System.
Ms. Keel succeeds Jeff Sandene, who was named the system’s next president and CEO in October.
Vandalia Health operates 17 hospitals, including three affiliates, and more than 220 outpatient locations. The system employs more than 14,500 people and includes more than 2,000 physicians and advanced practice providers.
