Conclusion
I have 440K+ Flying Blue and close to 600K Bonvoy points sitting in my respective accounts at the moment, so I am not in a rush to convert.
Flying Blue miles may work for transatlantic economy travel, but most premium awards are less useful when booked with AFKLM miles than with others (more miles + higher fees).
Also, Bonvoy points have lost much value over the past 24 to 36 months, so there is not much you can get out of them at a reasonable rate.
