Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has used strong words to reject criticism of the spectacular Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich which produced nine goals.
"It's like in life, there are opinions everywhere. I also think it is not important to respect all opinions," the Spaniard told a news conference on Friday ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 home game with Lorient. "If it is a crappy opinion, you don't have to respect it."
His defending champions won 5-4 in a memorable match in Paris on Tuesday and meet again in Germany on Wednesday.
Former England international Wayne Rooney was among pundits to criticize the defending in the game.
The PSG boss added: "There are people who like football this way (like we played on Tuesday) - that is the majority, and I am one of them too. But there are also people who do not like it like that."
