I think of Olipop as the brand that originated the prebiotic soda trend. Hey, the folks at Poppi and Culture Pop might argue that point, but Olipop was definitely the first “healthy” soda I ever tried—and it’s probably the one I’m most familiar with considering I’ve tasted 17 flavors. And hey, I’m about to be able to add two more to the list.
Olipop just dropped two new flavors
Okay, they aren’t both “new,” but hear me out. The (actually) new flavor is Raspberry Sherbet, which the brand describes as “bright, tangy raspberry juice swirled with creamy vanilla flavor.” That sounds so good! And, historically, we really like Olipop flavors that blend a fruity with some creamy vanilla (Cherry Vanilla is pretty high on our list).
The other new flavor, which is actually a flavor that’s returning after a limited release back in 2020, is Blackberry Vanilla. Yep, another fruit and cream combo that apparently really resonated with people during its original run. According to the brand, it “blends juicy blackberry, crisp apple, and bright mandarin and lemon juices” and then finishes “with smooth vanilla notes.” Sounds pretty good—and smart given the popularity of the dirty soda trend, which basically involves adding a creamy element to everything.
If you’re stoked on these because you’re fibermaxxing (sorry, I hate the phrase, too!), here’s something to keep in mind: The Blackberry Vanilla flavor will have Olipop’s usual 9g of fiber per can, while the Raspberry Sherbet will have 6g of fiber per can. The good news there is that the lower fiber sodas don’t have to be refrigerated like the flavors with 9g. Both flavors are low sugar (5g per can) and purport to “support digestive health,” which is kind of Oliopop’s whole thing.
When and where can I get these new Olipops?
You can get both of these Olipop flavors right now! They’re both available on Olipop’s website, and they’ll also be rolling out to retailers like Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods. Raspberry Sherbet has also been spotted as part of an Olipop variety pack at Costco along with Shirley Temple and Strawberry Vanilla.
If the Raspberry Sherbet is ringing your bell, get it fast, because it’s limited edition. Blackberry Vanilla is a permanent fixture, which is good news for the people who demanded its return in the first place. Make room in the fridge!
