Columbus (Ind.) Regional Health has named Andrew “Andy” Guz as president and CEO, effective July 1.
Mr. Guz will succeed Interim President and CEO Jim Bickel, who recently retired after 35 years with the organization, according to a May 4 health system news release.
Mr. Guz most recently served as CEO of Bradenton, Fla.-based Manatee Health and Manatee Memorial Hospital, where he led a regional healthcare network that includes a 300-bed acute care hospital, a freestanding emergency department, imaging centers, physician practices and home health services.
He has held executive leadership roles in more than five states, including Indiana, and brings more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience, according to the release.
Columbus Regional Health serves southcentral Indiana with approximately 2,600 employees and a flagship hospital with approximately 225 beds.
