The legendary broadcaster died at age 87, it was announced on May 4, and the sports world is paying tribute to the man who produced so many great memories − and iconic calls − for generations of baseball fans.
Suzyn Waldman, Sterling's longtime Yankees radio partner, reflected on her time with the legend in posting a statement on her Instagram account.
