Miami-based Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute is adding nine interventional radiology physicians to its team and has named a system chief of interventional radiology.

The radiologists will bring expertise in vascular interventional radiology and work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, coordinated care, according to an April 17 system news release. They will use imaging techniques to diagnose and treat a range of conditions, including vascular disease and tumors, and offer minimally invasive alternatives to traditional surgery.

The institute named Constantino Peña, MD, system chief of interventional radiology for Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care.
