The San Francisco 49ers and Sutter Health have entered a long-term partnership to expand access to preventive care, health resources and wellness programming across Northern California.
Under the agreement, Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health will serve as the NFL team’s official healthcare partner, with initiatives designed to reach fans at Levi’s Stadium and in surrounding communities, according to an April 22 news release.
The initiatives include an annual co-branded Community Fitness Zone, expanded health-focused offerings on game days, and fan health initiatives, as well as recognition of Sutter Health as the exclusive healthcare partner in specialties such as orthopedics and sports medicine, heart and vascular care, neurosciences and cancer.
