Accor launched an excellent offer in early April for ALL Platinum, Diamond, and Limitless members, valid for up to two stays between April 12 and July 12, 2026.
ALL Accor members must register for this offer and then book a non‑refundable, non‑cancellable (No Flex) rate at least 3 days in advance, but there were some questions about what rates were eligible.
You can access this offer on Accor’s website here.
READ MORE: ALL Accor Rate & Bonus Points Offers
I now have success getting these bonus points posted for a MGallery hotel in Dubai for a one-night stay last week:
The rate I booked was identified as promo eligible during the search I executed on Accor’s website.
There were questions from readers about whether these bonus points would post to a Red Hot Rate booking (a discounted prepaid rate for ALL Accor+ Explorer members), but they do not. I had one stay in Bangkok earlier this month that I made using the RHR, but no bonus points.
Similarly, the bonus points didn’t post to a Visa Luxury Rate plan that I booked through Chase to burn my $250 credit. But that may not have been a prepaid rate from hotel’s or Accor’s perspective, although I prepaid it via Chase.
So, to be on the safe side, I would only book a rate plan that the search identifies as valid for this promotion.
Here’s what we covered earlier about this promotion:
Conclusion
So, I have two very short one-night stays using this promotion at hotels and brands I would not otherwise stay (hey – if they are “free”, why not?).
There was a reason this MGallery price was low, and it was not only due to the situation in the Gulf.
It should not be affiliated with the MGallery brand at all (remember when MGallery was called “by Sofitel” or way back when it was Mercure Gallery), as it is definitely at least one star less than what the brand should stand for. But I survived, and now I know not to book it ever again.
This is a great promotion if you can book one of these hotels cheaply for a night that you would have needed anyway.
I have a second night coming up on Sunday for an 8-hour stay (to get some shuteye before a flight) at an ibis Styles. Let’s see if I survive that one.
