Michael Ehrat will transition from his role as CEO of HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte to join Blacksburg, Va.-based HCA Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital as its CEO.
Both hospitals are part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
The role transition will put Mr. Ehrat and his wife closer to their children and families, according to an April 30 LinkedIn post.
Under Mr. Ehrat’s leadership, HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital saw growth including a $60 million campus expansion, the addition of three freestanding emergency rooms, expansion of key service lines and designation as Charlotte County’s only comprehensive stroke center, the post said.
